Okay, here’s my experience about flying with vape cartridges domestically.
So, I had this trip planned, and you know I ain’t going anywhere without my trusty vape. But I was all worried about how to get it through airport security without getting into trouble. I did some digging online, trying to figure out the rules, and it was a bit of a headache. But I was determined to make it work.

Packing My Vape Gear
First things first, I learned that you gotta pack your vape devices in your carry-on bags, not the checked ones. I guess it’s because of those lithium batteries. I made sure to take my vape apart, you know, separated the battery from the tank, just to be safe. Then, I grabbed one of those clear, quart-sized zip-top bags ’cause that’s what they want for liquids.
- Batteries in carry-on: This was a big one. I made double sure all my batteries were in my carry-on.
- Cartridges in the baggie: My cartridges, they’ve got liquid, so into the clear baggie they went. I made sure none of my cartridges were bigger than 3.4 ounces, ’cause that’s the rule.
At the Airport
When I got to the airport, I was a little nervous, not gonna lie. But I just played it cool. When I went through security, I took out my little baggie of vape cartridges along with my other liquids and put it in the bin, just like they tell you to do. The TSA agents, they didn’t even bat an eye. I guess they see this stuff all the time.
On the Plane
Once I was on the plane, I didn’t even think about using my vape. I know they’re super strict about that, and I didn’t want to cause any trouble. Plus, it’s just not cool to vape on a plane, you know? Respect for the other passengers and all that.
Arriving at My Destination
When I landed, I put my vape back together and enjoyed a nice, relaxing vape session. It was such a relief to know that I could travel with my vape without any issues. It just takes a little bit of planning and knowing the rules.
So, yeah, that’s my story about flying with vape cartridges. It’s really not that big of a deal if you just follow the guidelines. Just remember to keep your vape stuff in your carry-on, put your cartridges in a clear baggie, and don’t even try to vape on the plane. Easy peasy! Hope this helps anyone else who’s stressing about traveling with their vape.
