Okay, so the other day I had this annoying issue where I needed to get some old vape juice out of my pod. It was one of those times where you just want to switch flavors, but the old one is still lingering in there. I tried just vaping it until it was gone, but no luck, it just wouldn’t go away.
So, I figured I had to take matters into my own hands. First, I took the whole thing apart. You know, I pulled out the pod from the battery, took off the mouthpiece, and popped out the coil. Basically, I had the thing in pieces all over my desk.

Emptying the Old Juice
- I flipped the pod upside down. I mean, with the coil out, there’s just a hole there, right?
- Then, I gave it a gentle shake. Nothing too crazy, just enough to encourage the old juice to come out.
- Most of the juice dripped out. It was a bit messy, but hey, it worked!
There was still some residue, but for the most part, it was empty. Then I remembered something I read online about washing it.
Washing the Pod
- I took the pod over to the sink.
- Grabbed some dish soap.
- And I just washed it out with warm, soapy water. You know, like you do with dishes.
- I rinsed it really well to get all the soap out.
After that, I dried it off as best as I could with a paper towel. Then I just let it sit there on my desk to air dry completely. I figured that was important to make sure there was no water left in there when I put the new juice in.
Putting it Back Together
Once everything was bone dry, I put the whole thing back together. Coil in, mouthpiece on, pod back in the battery. Filled it up with the new juice, and guess what? It worked perfectly! No more of that old flavor mixing in. So, that’s my little story about cleaning out a vape pod. Not the most exciting, but it worked, and I felt like sharing in case anyone else is having the same problem!
