Alright, let’s talk about this iceberg kiwi strawberry thing, whatever it is. Sounds fancy, like somethin’ them city folks would eat. But hey, if it’s got strawberries in it, I’m in. I love them strawberries, sweet and juicy, just like the ones I used to grow in my garden back in the day.
Now, this iceberg part, that’s got me a bit confused. Iceberg, ain’t that a big chunk of ice floatin’ in the water? Maybe it’s somethin’ cold, like a smoothie or somethin’. I had a smoothie once at the county fair. Cost me a pretty penny, but it was cool and sweet, perfect for a hot day. This kiwi thing though, I ain’t never heard of it. Is it a fruit? A vegetable? Some kinda newfangled candy? Lord knows these young folks are always comin’ up with somethin’ new.
Anyways, from what I gather, this iceberg kiwi strawberry thing is supposed to be sweet and fruity. Well, that sounds alright to me. I like sweet things. Reminds me of the pies my grandma used to bake. Apple pie, peach pie, cherry pie…she made ‘em all. And they were always the best darn pies you ever did taste. She used to say the secret was using fresh fruit and a whole lotta love. Maybe that’s the secret to this iceberg thing too. Fresh strawberries, whatever this kiwi is, and a whole lotta love.
But let’s get down to brass tacks. What is this stuff really? Seems like some folks sell it in a can, like them fancy tobacco pouches my grandson used to chew. Called it “snus” or somethin’. Said it gave him a kick. I told him, “Boy, you better quit that mess before it rots your teeth right outta your head.” He didn’t listen though, young folks never do. So, if this iceberg kiwi strawberry is like that snus stuff, then I ain’t too sure about it. I don’t hold with any of that fancy nicotine nonsense.
- It’s gotta be healthy. I’m too old to be puttin’ anythin’ bad in my body. Gotta stick to fruits and vegetables, just like the doctor ordered.

I reckon that’d be a good way to try this kiwi thing. Just blend it up with some strawberries and maybe a little bit of yogurt, and you got yourself a nice little treat. And if it’s healthy, well, that’s even better. Gotta keep myself in good shape, you know. Gotta be able to chase them grandkids around the yard.
I heard tell that these kiwi strawberry smoothies are good for you. Got all sorts of vitamins and such. Vitamin C, vitamin K…I don’t know much about them vitamins, but I know they’re supposed to keep you healthy. And fiber too, that’s important. Keeps things movin’, if you know what I mean. So yeah, a kiwi strawberry smoothie sounds like a pretty good idea. Healthy and tasty, that’s what I like.
So, to sum it all up, this iceberg kiwi strawberry thing could be a few different things. It could be like that snus stuff my grandson used to chew, which I ain’t too keen on. Or it could be a smoothie, which sounds a whole lot better. Either way, if it’s got strawberries in it, I’m willin’ to give it a try. Just as long as it’s healthy, tasty, and don’t cost a fortune. And if this kiwi is as good as they say, well, then maybe I’ll start growin’ it in my garden next to my strawberries. Now wouldn’t that be somethin’?
But I tell you what, I ain’t payin’ no fancy city prices for it. I’ll find a way to get my hands on some kiwi seeds and grow my own. That’s the way we used to do things, and that’s the way I still like to do ‘em. Grow your own food, cook your own meals, and don’t rely on nobody for nothin’. That’s the secret to a long and happy life, let me tell you.
