Alright, so I bought this Geek Bar Pulse the other day, and it was hitting great at first. But then, out of nowhere, it just stopped working. Like, I’d take a pull, and nothing would happen. No vapor, no flavor, just a whole lot of nothing. Super frustrating, right?
First thing I did was check the battery, since that’s usually the culprit. This thing’s got a USB-C port, so I plugged it into my laptop. The little light came on, which meant it was charging. Okay, so the battery wasn’t totally dead. I let it charge for a while, just to be sure.

After about an hour, I tried it again. Still nothing. I was starting to get annoyed. I mean, I just bought this thing!
Then I remembered reading somewhere about resetting the device. This Geek Bar has a little switch on the bottom, so I figured I’d give that a shot. I flipped the switch off, waited a few seconds, and then flipped it back on.
Took another pull, and… nothing. Still not hitting. I was about to throw this thing across the room.
Airflow Issues
Then, I had another idea. Maybe it was an airflow issue. This vape has adjustable airflow, so I messed around with that a bit. I tried opening it all the way, then closing it all the way, and then somewhere in the middle. Still nothing.
At this point, I was pretty much out of ideas. I’d checked the battery, reset the device, and messed with the airflow. Nothing was working. I even tried blowing into it pretty hard to clear it out, but that did not help.
So, I gave up. I just left it alone for a while, and I went to do something else. Maybe it just needed a break, I thought.
A couple of hours later, I decided to give it one last shot. I picked it up, took a pull, and guess what? It worked! I don’t know what happened, but it just started hitting again. Maybe it was just some weird glitch or something. Whatever it was, I’m just glad it’s working now.
So, yeah, that’s my story of the Geek Bar Pulse that wouldn’t hit. It was a frustrating experience, but at least it ended well. If you’re having a similar problem, maybe try the things I tried:

- Check the battery and make sure it’s charged.
- Reset the device by turning it off and on again.
- Adjust the airflow to see if that helps.
- Take a break and try again later.
Hopefully, one of those things will work for you. If not, then you might just have a defective device. Good luck!
