Okay, so, I recently got this Kado Bar, you know, the disposable vape thing. It was working fine, hitting smooth, all that good stuff. But then it just died on me out of nowhere. Naturally, I plugged it in, expecting it to come back to life. But all I got was this red light – and it just stayed red.
First, I started to fiddle with the charging cable, unplugged it, plugged it back in, the usual. Still nothing but that solid red light. Then I switched to a different USB port on my laptop, thinking maybe the port was the issue. Nope, red light again.

I even tried a different charging cable altogether, one that I know works because I use it for my phone. Still, that darn red light wouldn’t go away.
- Used the original cable, red light.
- Tried a different USB port, red light.
- Swapped out the cable, red light.
Next, I got curious and searched the internet for what that light means. Some places mentioned that a blinking red light means a bad battery, but mine was solid. Others talked about green lights, but that didn’t help me.
My Kado Bar Charging Experiment
So I did the only thing a sensible person would do. I decided to experiment. I left the thing plugged in for a good while, just to see what would happen. And guess what? The red light eventually turned off. It’s weird. I unplugged it, took a hit, and it worked! It was like it needed a really long nap or something.
So, yeah, if your Kado Bar is showing a solid red light when you charge it, don’t panic. It might just need a long, uninterrupted charge. At least, that’s what worked for me. Now it seems to be working. It’s not rocket science, just my experience with this stubborn little vape.
