Alright, so I’ve been trying to track down some Montclair cigarettes, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I started off with the usual, you know, just popping into my local convenience stores and gas stations. No luck. They had all the usual brands, but Montclair? Nope.
So, I thought, “Okay, time to get a bit more serious.” I remembered seeing something about a store locator on some website for cigarette brands. It was for Liggett Vector Brands. Seemed promising. All I had to do was punch in my ZIP code and pick the product I was after. Easy, right?

I did that, and it spat out a list of places near me. A few were the same spots I’d already checked, but there were a couple of new ones. I figured, “Why not?” and decided to make a day of it. I hopped in my car and started driving around, hitting up each store on the list.
- First stop: A small tobacco shop I’d never noticed before. The guy behind the counter was super friendly, but alas, no Montclair.
- Second stop: Another gas station. This one was a bit further out, but I was feeling determined. Still no luck, but the attendant told me they used to carry them. Maybe I was getting closer?
- Third stop: This was a larger store, part of a chain. I had high hopes for this one. I walked in, found the cigarette section, and scanned the shelves. Nothing. I asked a worker, and they confirmed they didn’t have Montclair.
Feeling a bit defeated, I decided to try a different approach. I pulled out my phone and started searching online again. I came across some info about the cost of cigarettes in different countries. Apparently, Australia is the most expensive place to buy smokes, and China has the highest revenue in the cigarette market, followed by the United States. Interesting, but not very helpful for my current quest.
Then I found an online store that seemed to sell Montclair. I saw they had different types, like “Montclair Filter Tip Menthol” in a soft box for around 25 bucks, and “Montclair M Full Flavor 100s”, also in a soft pack. They had a bunch of reviews too. Seemed legit. There were other products, but I was laser-focused on Montclair, and finally I got it.
So, yeah, that’s my story of hunting down Montclair cigarettes. It took some effort, some driving around, and a bit of online sleuthing, but I finally found what I was looking for. Just goes to show, sometimes you gotta go the extra mile to get what you want!
