Okay, so, picture this: I just got this RabBeats RC10000, right? Hyped up, ready to go. I took a few puffs, everything’s chill. Then, bam! It just stopped working. No vapor, no nothing. I was like, “What the heck?”
First thing I did was check the obvious stuff. Is it charged? I plugged it in, made sure the connection was good. The light came on, so I figured, okay, maybe it just needed some juice. But even after leaving it plugged in for a while, still nothing. Dead as a doornail.

Troubleshooting Time
Next, I thought, maybe it’s a battery issue. This thing doesn’t have a removable battery, which is a bummer. But it got me thinking, these batteries do lose their oomph over time. This one was new, though, so that seemed unlikely. But, you know, it’s worth considering.
- Checking for Leaks: I took a closer look to see if there was any leakage. I had heard that even new vapes can leak sometimes, especially if they got knocked around during shipping. A leak can mess up the insides, so I was thorough, but nope. Everything seemed dry.
- Cleaning Time: I grabbed a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol and carefully cleaned the charging port and the contacts. Sometimes gunk can build up and mess with the connection. After a good cleaning, still nothing.
Getting a Bit Desperate
At this point, I was getting a little frustrated. I even tried that trick someone mentioned online about shorting the chip with a knife. Yeah, I know, sounds crazy. They said to just touch the blade to the contacts on the chip for like a split second. I was careful, did it super quick, but still… nothing. No dice.
So, yeah, that’s my story. My RabBeats RC10000 just up and died on me, and I’ve tried everything I can think of. It’s a real head-scratcher. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. If anyone’s got any bright ideas, I’m all ears, because I’m officially out of them.
