Okay, so, my Raz Vape was acting up. I plugged it in to charge, you know, like always, but nothing happened. It just wouldn’t work. I was like, “What the heck?” because this thing is pretty new. So, I started messing around with it to figure out what was going on.
Check the Battery First
First things first, I checked if the battery was even charging. I mean, it’s the most obvious thing, right? I used the USB cable that came with it and plugged it into my laptop. Usually, a little light comes on to show it’s charging, but this time… nothing. No light, no sign of life. I wiggled the cable a bit, made sure it was properly in, still nothing.
Is It Really Dead?
So, I thought maybe the battery was just completely dead. Like, maybe it had been sitting on a shelf for too long before I bought it or something, and the battery just gave up. I tried a different USB port on my computer, just in case that was the issue. Still no luck. I even tried plugging it into a wall charger, thinking maybe my computer’s USB port wasn’t giving enough juice. Nope, still dead as a doornail.
Button Blues
Next, I started playing with the buttons. Maybe I was doing something wrong, like, not pressing the right button or something? I mean, it sounds silly, but you never know. I cleaned the fire button, in case there was some gunk in there, and checked to see if it was stuck. It felt fine, though. I pressed it a few times, tried holding it down, but nope, the vape just wouldn’t turn on.
Connection Catastrophe
- I made sure that the tank was on tight.
- Screwed it in a bit more, just to be safe.
- I took a look at the contact points where the tank meets the battery.
- Looked clean enough.
Still, nothing. At this point, I was pretty bummed out. It felt like I tried everything, but my Raz Vape was just not cooperating. It’s frustrating when you buy something, and it just doesn’t work like it’s supposed to, right?
I am starting to think I got a dud. It happens, I guess. Maybe I’ll try contacting the company or the store where I bought it. Maybe they have some other ideas or maybe I can get a replacement. It’s worth a shot.
