Man, you won’t believe the mess I got myself into the other day. So, I’m just chillin’, enjoying my vape, when all of a sudden, I get this nasty taste in my mouth. I’m like, “What the heck is that?” Turns out, my vape juice was leaking out of the mouthpiece. Not cool, right?
First thing I did was panic. I mean, who wants vape juice in their mouth? Nasty stuff. I grabbed a napkin and wiped my mouth, trying to get rid of that awful taste. Then I inspected the vape itself. The tank looked fine, no cracks or anything, but the mouthpiece was definitely wet.
Troubleshooting Time
Okay, time to figure out what was going on. I took the whole thing apart. Removed the mouthpiece, checked the coil, emptied the tank. Everything seemed normal. I even cleaned all the parts, just in case. Still, when I put it all back together and tried again, same problem. Juice was still coming out.
Then I remembered reading something online about overfilling the tank. I usually fill it to the top, you know, to get the most out of it. Maybe that was it. I refilled the tank, but this time, I left some space at the top. I also made sure the coil was screwed in tight, just to be safe.
- Filled it up, but not all the way.
- Tightened everything up real good.
- Took a slow, gentle puff.
And guess what? It worked! No more juice in my mouth. I was so relieved. I guess I was just being a little too greedy with the juice. Lesson learned: don’t overfill your vape tank, and don’t try to inhale too hard, it will bring juice into your mouth! It’s also a good habit to regularly clean your device, and check for loose parts. It’s not just about avoiding a nasty taste, but also about keeping your vape in good shape.
I also found out that some people suggest rinsing your mouth with lemon juice or vinegar to get rid of the vape juice taste. I didn’t try that, but it might be worth a shot if you’re really desperate. It sounds pretty intense, though!
Anyway, that’s my little vape mishap story. Hope it helps someone out there avoid the same gross experience I had.
