Okay, so, my JUUL charger decided to take an unexpected vacation. I looked everywhere, turned the house upside down, but nope, it was gone. Now, I needed a fix, and I needed it fast. So, I started checking around to see where I could get a new one.
First, I tried looking online, and I found the official website. It seems like the most legit place to get one, right? But, you know, it got me thinking about those warranty things. I remembered something about a one-year limited warranty when you buy straight from them or one of their authorized sellers. Good to know, but I needed something quicker.

Then, I remembered some big stores like Walmart and Kroger used to sell e-cigarette stuff. I went to the closest Walmart, and I walked around for a bit, even asked some employees, but no luck. They stopped selling them a while back. That was a dead end. I guess they are no longer selling these products.
Trying Some DIY Tricks
Now, I was getting a little desperate. I had heard about people using all sorts of makeshift methods to charge their JUULs. Some folks talk about cutting up old phone cords and using the wires. They say you can just stick the wires on the bottom of the JUUL, and it’ll charge. Sounds a bit risky, to be honest. I’m not really into potentially frying my device with some DIY electrical work. I decided to try to use a USB cable.
- Find a USB cable
- Connect it to the JUUL’s port
- Plug the other end into a power source
I found an old USB cable lying around, but I was hesitant to use the wire-cutting method because I didn’t want to damage my device. Anyway, I plugged my JUUL into my laptop. It worked, but it was pretty slow, and I had to keep an eye on it to make sure it didn’t overheat or something. I mean, it’s better than nothing, but I don’t think I would use this every day.
What I Learned
So, after all this, I realized a few things. One, it’s a pain to lose your charger, obviously. Two, those big stores aren’t really an option anymore. And three, while you can get creative with charging, it’s probably not the best idea for the long run. It’s important to consider the carbon footprint. I read somewhere that these products have a cradle-to-grave assessment for carbon emissions, but still. I guess I’ll be ordering a new charger from the official website to avoid any more hassle. If you’re going to buy a new one, that’s probably your safest bet.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure of trying to find a JUUL charger. Hope this helps someone out there who might be in the same boat!
