Today, I felt like making some whipped cream. You know, the kind you put on top of desserts or hot chocolate? Well, I realized I didn’t have any of those nitrous oxide canisters, the things you need to make the cream all fluffy. So, I had to figure out where to buy nitrous oxide canisters.
First, I did a quick search on my phone. I found out that these canisters are called N2O chargers, and they usually come in an 8g size. The search results said that these smaller canisters are cheaper, which sounded good to me.
Finding a Store
I needed to find a store nearby that sells them. I found out that Airgas is a place that might have them. It said I should enter my ZIP Code to find a branch close to me. I tried logging in, but I couldn’t remember my password. I thought I could reset it but decided not to bother at this moment.
Checking Online
I checked a few online stores. I saw some websites selling them, but I was a bit worried about whether it’s okay to buy them. Apparently, it’s illegal if you don’t use them for the right reasons. I only wanted them for whipped cream, so I figured it should be fine. I didn’t search more about the law cause I am sure I am a good guy.
Making the Purchase
- I went to a local store that sells kitchen supplies.
- I asked one of the staff, and he pointed me to the right aisle.
- I found the N2O chargers, and they were indeed the 8g size.
- I picked up a box and went to the counter to pay.
Using the Canisters
Once I got home, I got my whipped cream dispenser ready. I followed the instructions, put a charger in, and made some delicious whipped cream. It was so satisfying to use something I had just bought and see it work perfectly. I enjoyed my dessert with the freshly made whipped cream.
