Alright, so my Yocan Orbit atomizer wasn’t hitting right, giving me that dreaded blinking light. It was driving me nuts! I figured I’d document my little adventure in getting it fixed, ’cause why not, right? Might help someone else out there with the same headache.
First thing I did was to check if everything was connected right. I mean, that’s the obvious first step, isn’t it? So, I unscrewed the tank from the mod, made sure it was all snug and secure when I screwed it back on. Gave it another go, but nope, still blinking. Darn.

Then I thought, maybe it’s the coil, you know? Those things can be finicky. I took a good look at the coil, and well, it didn’t look too hot. I’ve had coils give out on me before, so this was my next best guess.
While I was at it, I remembered someone saying something about cleaning the battery contacts. I grabbed a Q-tip, dipped it in some alcohol – the rubbing kind, not the drinking kind, haha – and gave the battery contact where the cartridge screws in a good wipe. Did the same for the coil threads. I let it all dry for a few minutes, just to be safe.
- Unscrewed the tank
- Checked the coil
- Cleaned battery and coil contacts with alcohol
After that, I put everything back together, making sure all the parts were firmly connected, but not too tight. I screwed the atomizer back onto the battery, crossed my fingers, and hit the button.
Success!
It worked! No more blinking, just smooth, satisfying hits. Turns out, it was probably just a bit of gunk messing up the connection. I guess sometimes it is just need to clean up, right? Good thing I didn’t have to buy a new atomizer. I figured out it was a connection issue. Anyway, that’s my little story of how I fixed my Yocan Orbit atomizer. Hope this helps someone out there!
